Patrick Gavoty is Managing Director & Head of Sustainability at Apheon, a midcap pan-European private equity fund (with a current portfolio of 20 companies across Europe, representing a group of more than €2.0 billion sales and 18,000 employees). As Head of Sustainability, Patrick Gavoty is responsible for defining Apheon’s approach to sustainability and supervising ESG initiatives in its portfolio companies and offices throughout Europe; he is also in charge of Apheon’s in-house foundation, Apheon Philanthropy. Patrick joined Apheon 12 years ago after 4 years spent at Goldman Sachs in London. Alongside his professional career, Patrick Gavoty has had multiple personal commitments both in large organizations such as UNICEF, the United Nations’ entity dedicated to children, where he was responsible in Paris for coordinating their youth program, and in self-developed charities in relation to underserved young people or children affected with cancer. In 2019, Patrick was awarded with the ESSEC Pioneer Prize, which rewards each year the excellence, humanitarianism and societal commitments of a graduate of this French business school.

Tobias has over 10 years of experience in M&A, commercial value creation and corporate strategy. He works with Private Equity firms and strategic investors across target industries, having a special interest in Industrial Goods and Business Services, as well as Tech and Software deals.
His project work is focused on:
- transaction support (buy- and sell-side, CDD, target search
- commercial value creation (incl. 100 days planning, program management)
- corporate strategy (strategic planning, technology portfolio, geographic expansion, top-line push)
Tobias has worked in many countries of the EU, in the US, the UK, China and Brazil. Prior to joining the company, he served as a partner at a large consulting firm, where he advised PE investors in D-A-CH countries

Mr. Mäki is the Managing Partner of 3TS and is primarily responsible for general management of 3TS. Previously, Mr. Mäki was the Managing Partner of Red Catalyst Ltd., a strategic business development consultancy and an investment boutique. He has also been an entrepreneur and executive in management consulting and with advertising agencies across Central and Eastern Europe and in Finland. A true European Mr. Mäki speaks five languages and has studied at Helsinki University of Technology, IESE Business School in Barcelona, Universidad Complutense in Madrid and Wirschaftsuniversität in Vienna.

Alix Nepveux is lead partner for the Software & Internet practice in France.

She primarily supports B2B software companies on topics ranging from packaging and pricing optimization to GTM, Channel Strategy and Sales Excellence initiatives. Her clients span across both national and international players, legacy and scale-ups. Typical projects cover all kinds of steps in company lifecycles, from transition to SaaS to land & expand strategy setting, be it in transactional or Enterprise business models.

Alix Nepveux holds an MSc in management from ESCP Europe (Paris) and the University of San Andres (Buenos Aires) with an emphasis on strategic marketing.
